Translating findings of systematic reviews into consensus statements on periodontal therapy
Article Abstract:
The methods used to conduct systematic reviews (SRs) and the findings from the same are highlighted along with translating the findings from the SRs into general consensus statements. A comprehensive analyses of the best available clinically relevant evidence in key areas of periodontal practice is provided by SRs, which also identifies knowledge gaps and suggests direction for further studies.

The epidemiology, consequences and management of periodontal disease in older adults

Older patients are more susceptible to periodontal disease (PD), which is an oral inflammatory disease that can lead to ro ot caries and systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus . The causes of PD and its proper treatment for elderly patients is discussed based on a review of literature on the topic.
