Article Abstract:
The key challenges to tuberculosis control and the need for sustained efforts to eliminate tuberculosis in United States is described. Data form the national TB surveillance system for 2003 is summarized.

Heredity and tuberculosis

The suggestion supported by research that Professor Karl Pearson presented to indicate that tuberculosis is heredity, which could also be the dominant factor, is discussed.

The result of an analysis, indicated that increase in state death rates from unintentional and undetermined poisonings is due to drugs and other biological substances.
