US to make research marijuana more accessible
Article Abstract:
The United States government has decided to make marijuana available to scientists who want to study its medical benefits to open the way to new privately funded research. The drive for medical marijuana in the US and Canada is discussed. Funding will still be problem since marijuana cannot be patented. A pain researcher who died of a cocaine overdose after taking receipt of 140 g of cocaine in a seven-year period at the University of Minnesota is discussed. The university will reimburse for the grant money.
