Use of antiretroviral drugs to prevent HIV-1 transmission through breast-feeding: from animal studies to randomized clinical trials
Article Abstract:
Various antiretroviral intervention studies are performed based on animal models and humans regarding resource-limited settings that are aimed at reducing the risk of mother-to-infant HIV transmission during lactation. The interventions are studied under clinical practices and potential risks and benefits of these interventions to mothers and infants are highlighted.

Policy perceptives on public health for Mexican migrants in California
Article Abstract:
A focus on public policies that affect primary HIV prevention and access to HIV care for Mexican migrants residing in California is described. A better understanding of the policies framework and the environment in which policies are developed and can be useful in moving the agenda forward.
