Using negative pressure therapy for healing of a sternal wound
Article Abstract:
The benefits of using vacuum-assisted closure therapy (VAC) are demonstrated in many clinical studies that looked at different wound aetiologies. Furthermore, individual case studies carried out have identified the benefits of using this type of therapy on difficult or non-healing wounds.

Exploring alternative methods for measuring wounds in a nursing home
Article Abstract:
The process of reflection and identification of best practice facilitated a change in the measurement of wounds in a nursing home. Wound measurements should address social, psychological as well as physical issues relating to a patient and his or her wound.
