Using the DISC system to motivate dental patients
Article Abstract:
The implications of using information about patients' behavioral styles as a patient-motivation method by dentists for effectively communicating their therapy procedures to them are discussed. The DISC systems is a method where patients are categorized as dominant, influencing, steady or cautious and accordingly the treatment is planned.
