Value and limitations of chest pain history in the evaluation of patients with suspected acute coronary syndromes
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to identify the elements of the chest pain history that might be most helpful to the clinical in identifying acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in patients presenting with chest pain. Findings suggest that although certain elements of the chest pain history are associated with increased or decreased likelihoods of a diagnosis of ACS, none of them alone or in combination identify a group of patients that can be safely discharged without further diagnostic testing.

A simplified approach to the management of non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndromes
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to assess and synthesize the evidence regarding optimal management of non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndromes (NSTE-ACS). An 'ABCDE' approach for the management of NSTE-ACS provides practical and systematic means to implement evidence-based medicine into clinical practice.
