Article Abstract:
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has a set of requirements for first aid in industry. These requirements include an adequately trained first aid staff for industrial employers who do not have immediate access to first aid service providers in their vicinity. Immediate access means the first aid treatment should be administered within 15 minutes or less. OSHA also requires the first aid staff to undergo at least seven hours of basic first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation training.
