Waterlogged? Too much water isn't the answer to heat stress
Article Abstract:
Too much water might prove dangerous for athletes and bodybuilders who try to avoid heat stress during summer. This is because consuming too much water dilutes sodium in the body, resulting in a condition called hyponatremia which prevents the muscles, organs and brain from functioning properly. Hyponatremia could lead to tissue damage and put bodybuilders and athletes at risk of muscle wasting, coma and seizures.

The ageless athlete
Article Abstract:
It is not always true that an athlete's performance diminishes with age. Some of the best athletes such as Carlos Lopes, Jimmy Connors and Nolan Ryan have made record-breaking performances during their late 30s or early 40s. Their exemplary performance can be attributed to their consistency of training.
