The AMA plans to launch an agenda that includes meetings with members to determine their needs.

Paving the way for pediatric drug trials
Article Abstract:
The American Medical Association's American Academy of Pediatrics is pushing for more testing of prescription drug applications in treatment of children. Only 20% of prescription drugs are approved for use with children, but physicians must frequently use drugs which are not approved. The group hopes to encourage the pharmaceutical industry to extend testing.
