What's wrong with your computer workstation?
Article Abstract:
Ergonomically designed computer workstations can improve workplace conditions and result in higher productivity. A workstation that factors in the size and performance limitations of its user and considers his full range of movements is thus imperative. Eye stress, for instance, can be avoided by using VDTs with adjustable display panels, brightness and contrast controls and flexible copyholders. Adjustable and detachable keyboards as well as wrist rests also prevent musculoskeletal problems in the arms and wrists. A properly fitted chair, meanwhile, can prevent back disorders.
