Will Agenda for Change leave nurses short changed?
Article Abstract:
The concerns of nurses regarding the new pay system, as the national rollout of Agenda for Change has begun, are investigated. The Agenda for Change promises that nursing would have a pay system that would transform it into a well-paid, truly professional and highly desirable career and also ensure that nurses are properly rewarded for running a world class NHS.

Nurses in England lose out after full pay rise agreed in rest of UK
Article Abstract:
The total increase of 2.5% in the nurse's salaries by the Northern Ireland government is implemented in all of the U.K. with the exception of England. The rise in pay was decided by the Scottish Executive, Welsh Assembly government and later also by the Northern Ireland Executive.

Fixed, permanent regional supplements for nurses may be considered by the United Kingdom's National Health Service. Nurses in different areas of the country may receive different salaries, due to cost of living considerations.
