Article Abstract:
Ergonomic software, while new to the market, is believed to aid in the prevention of cumulative trauma disorders. How to prevent cumulative trauma on the shop floor
Article Abstract:
Cumulative trauma in the workplace can be prevented by implementing engineering and administrative controls. Cumulative trauma, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and tenosynovitis, are greatly reduced in a work setting by adopting tools that remove the use of awkward hand and arm position and require less human manipulation. Changing the setting of the workstation by making tools and materials closer to the employee also helps.
