You'll never work alone
Article Abstract:
Nursing students on community placements need to work as part of a team and also be able to operate individually in the community. Guidelines have been drawn up to help students integrate successfully because they often find that their educational needs conflict with the demands of the rest of the team. The guidelines identify learning objectives and are based on the principle of memorizing, understanding and doing. The nursing practice must be based on research-based evidence and having a student around encourages other staff to be more communicative and think about what they are doing.
