Linking technological innovations to strategic needs
Article Abstract:
A market analysis on manufacturing technology and its application in business strategy proves that UK companies encounter difficulties in applying the Manufacturing, Planning and Implementation strategies to their productive and technological resources. Most difficulties stem from the inadequacy of skills on the part of consultants and inadequacy of understanding of the scheme on the part of the client. This implies that UK manufacturing consultants are still in need of more thorough market analysis and advanced manufacturing technology developments.
