James McLurkin

James McLurkin, a computer engineer and inventor, designs and creates robots that are based on biological organisms, specifically ants and bees, and that perform complex functions. He created his first interactive group of robots in 1995, while doing undergraduate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
