The St. Petersburg, FL-based family-operated Skyway Hardware store improved its warehouse operations by making changes in the process of merchandise receiving and stocking. The store supervisors reviewed the receiving department scheduling and decided to use only two team members to divide the balance of hours worked among part-timers and management. The new team members will work in the warehouse on the sales floor and operate the registers.
