TV project: Home at last
Article Abstract:
This Old House television show selected a 200-year-old Georgia house in November 2003 and set to renovate it with the help of local architect Colin Campbell. This house was in sorry state, shored up against hurricanes and left vacant, but the renovated house was filled with signs of life with the addition of bright new plaster over Bermuda limestone walls, a sparkling family kitchen and a beautifully sculpted landscape.

Once and again: They loved their house, but needed more space. So they built it again-bigger and better
Article Abstract:
A new house that retains the design and style of the older one but is larger, modern and much improved than the earlier house is built on the same place where the old house was located. The new house has the same character and a rational layout as the old house, but it includes additional amenities like the basement and pool, which the earlier house lacked.
