The Euro and 'Offshore Europe.'
Article Abstract:
The move of the European Union to adopt a single currency, the euro, by January 1, 1998, offers many opportunities for efficient investment management. This is because 'offshore' countries, specifically Luxembourg, gives outside investors lower taxation rates relative to their domestic capacity in order to generate investments.
