Employer has no defence for harassment
Article Abstract:
Canniffe v. East Riding of Yorkshire Council, a case about employer liability for sexual harassment, is discussed. Employers of a woman who was repeatedly sexually fondled by a coworker were liable for the harassment because they did not take all steps reasonable practical to stop the actions.
