Employment in the European Union candidate countries
Article Abstract:
Joint Assessment Papers prepared by the European Commission governing the employment policies of the 10 countries, namely Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia that are aspiring to join European Union have been described. Based on their present economic conditions, the European Commission has suggested remedial measures to overcome the defects.
