Expatriate selection: good management or good luck?
Article Abstract:
One of the important factors in human resource management of multinational companies is management of expatriation. An analysis of the manner in which private, public and non-government organizations in Australia select their expatriates is presented. Apart from technical competence, the selected employees and their families are tested for psychological adaptability.
