International compensation: learning from how managers respond to variations in local host contexts
Article Abstract:
According to managers and researchers the tensions created by the interplay of globalization and national environments influence the behaviors of multinational enterprises (MNEs). A model is developed to explain the effects of global and local host environments on the design of managerial compensations system in MNEs.

Voluntary employer changes and salary attainment of managers
Article Abstract:
A study conducted to verify the relationship between frequency of voluntary employer changes and salary attainment of middle managers is presented. Results suggest that the over-utilization of voluntary employer changes may evoke obstacle to salary attainment.
