The balance sheet
Article Abstract:
The balance sheet is a popular compensation tool that a company uses for expatriate employees. Balance sheets, which are capable of promoting employee mobility, are logical, defensible and are readily understandable by the employees concerned. Balance sheets, however, are not suited for all international employee deployments as they can be very expensive depending on location. Cost-reducing options, such as one-off mobility premia and efficient purchaser indices, can be applied in those instances.
