The benefits of a partnership approach to disability management
Article Abstract:
Employers can realize the benefits of being a partner in disability management by introducing part-time or modified work alternatives that will help retain skilled employees and lead to greater productivity over the long range. Keeping employees in revised, alternative work functions yields much greater advantages than paying 100% disability benefits. Employees can work with insurers to effectively manage disability claims.
