Validating the dimensionality of porter et al.'s measurement of organizational commitment in a non-western culture setting
Article Abstract:
A study is undertaken to validate the dimensionality of the measurement of organizational commitment construct as conceptualized by Porter and his colleagues. The results indicate that the fifteen-item Organizational Commitment Questionnaire is a multi-dimensional measure of organizational commitment.

The belief that teamwork is a 'natural' form of work organization that satisfies universal human needs such as social affiliation and self-actualization is analyzed. A framework of practical ethics of teamwork that appreciates the moral ambiguities of teamwork is presented.
