Young ethnic minorities are breaking through the class barrier due to educational achievement
Article Abstract:
A study on ethnic minorities in United Kingdom indicates that children of working class parents of African, Indian, Chinese and Caribbean communities are getting into professional and managerial cadres, at a faster rate than their white counterparts, because of educational accomplishments. However, the children of Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are lagging. Other findings in the study are also discussed.

Positive race duties need to be extended to private sector, says TUC
Article Abstract:
The statistics revealing the ethnic discrimination in Britain towards the Pakistani and Bangladeshi British people are presented. Measures to be taken to improve the situation in private sector are also suggested.
