A gloomy vista? "Globalisation", juvenile crime and social order - an Australian perspective

Globalization and rising juvenile crime have been linked in criminology research. The author explores this connection, arguing that governments, attempting to control and regulate the situation, are repressing the youth population in an effort to regain social control by resorting to harsh criminal justice measures.

Dealing with the holocaust and collaboration: the Dutch experience of criminal justice and accountability after World War II
Article Abstract:
This article examines the Dutch involvement with the Nazis in World War II and the implementation of criminal law on war crime perpetrators. The author argues that even when criminal law and punishment are applied it is unable to address collective guilt, as well as collective victimization.
