Ed O'Brien, the director of legal services for the evangelical Christian men's movement, is profiled. This is a not-for-profit movement founded in 1990 whichh became well-known for its mass revival-style rallies. O'Brien devotes much of his time to contracts with arenas where the organization holds its rallies.

The importance of Food and Drug Administration scrutiny for biomedical company mergers is discussed. The various duities of the FDA including enforcer of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, approver of new biomedical products, and sentinel of new public health concerns are also discussed.
