Issues are discussed regarding the increasing legal and public relations problems of Ford Motor Co and Bridgestone-Firestone face, and these result from the scores of accidents due to defective Firestone tires. Class action lawyers have filed over 20 suits, and plaintiffs' lawyers report many inquiries.
