Bullish on brokers; but finding the discount brokerage right for you takes some searching
Article Abstract:
Guidelines for selecting a discount broker and for choosing the right mutual fund are given. Comparison-shopping on commissions and account fees before choosing a broker is well-advised, and a URL for a web site with a ranking of discount brokers by the cost of a basic stock trade is given. Free research services offered, investing aids, and the availability of margin accounts are also advantages.
