Improving on justice for all; the ABA Coalition for Justice spearheads a nationwide effort
Article Abstract:
The ABA Coalition for Justice has 20 members including judges, lawyers and members of the public and hopes to encourage improvements in the system of justice. Both the ABA and other involved bar associations and courts hope to identify local concerns regarding the adminstration of justice and held devise local solutions. The ABA Ad Hoc Committee on Civil Justice Improvements and the Ad Hoc Committee on Criminal Justice Improvements have published a report on key ABA policies. The Coalition for Justice also sponsors an annual forum where attorneys and national leaders discuss ways of dealing with the issues of the day.

Article Abstract:
The ABA Judicial Division, formerly called the Judicial Administration Division, seeks to improve the administration of justice and court administration. The division contains six conferences: Appellate Judges, Administrative Law Judges, Federal Trial Judges, Special Court Judges, State Trial Judges and the Lawyers' Conference. All provide a range of programs and publications.

Article Abstract:
The ABA's Section of Business Law has many programs including attempts to provide technical assistance to emerging economies, help in establishing specialized business courts, and many publications such as The Business Lawyer keeping its members well-informed. The section has 53,000 members and more than 500 task forces and committees. The 1996 chairman is George Frazza.
