Article Abstract:
Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) allows any user with a personal computer to dial into a federal district or bankruptcy court computer to retrieve electronic case information and dockets. The URL www.us courts.gov/PubAccess.html has information about PACER, which was created by the government in 1992 to enable individual attorneys to track their cases. Available information varies among jurisdictions since each federal court controls its own information system and database.

In brief, this product is long on value; Lexis-Nexis offshoot manages documents - and it's a solid research tool, too
Article Abstract:
Lexis-Nexis Enterprise Knowledge Services is a revolutionary product, basically a document management system which stores and manages a firm's briefs, but when lawyers submit briefs the product instantly suggests other pertinent cases and authorities. A processed brief is automatically assigned core terms based on the analysis of its language, and using the "more like this" option makes the computer retrieve documents with similar language patterns.
