Institutional evolution in economic integration: a contribution to comparative institutional analysis for international economic organization
Article Abstract:
Regional economic integration arrangements are types of international economic organizations which have increased in recent years and which may be better analyzed with the use of a theoretical framework. Differing transaction costs between such organizations and within them at differing time periods can explain differences in governance, continuance of separate organizations, and existence of such organizations in the first instance.
