It's looking good; all that timidity in the early '90s has created opportunities now
Article Abstract:
The job market is very good for corporate counsel throughout the US.In-house corporate legal departments tend to prefer contract attorneys. Law students with excellent credentials stand the best chance. The high demand is compounded by the dearth of experienced middle and senior level associates due to the recession of the early 1990s. Demand for intellectual property specialists occupies second place, with employment and international law not far behind. Demand for all the legal specialties is profiled.
