Mentoring programs boost law firm loyalty; often, having a good role model is the most important factor in associate satisfaction
Article Abstract:
The benefits of a good mentor in increasing associate satisfaction and thus loyalty to the law firm are discussed. Factors to make the mentoring relationship work are summarized, and include recognizing that this relationship is a two-way street requiring a commitment, setting specific and achievable goals, and monitoring progress.
