Lawyers who need to generate a Table of Authorities (TOA) can do so using WordPerfect for Windows' (WPWin) TOA feature. The following four steps are required: create a separately numbered section for the TOA; define the TOA's format; mark each citation as either a Full Form or a Short Form; and generate the TOA. Adding a macro to the toolbar and file menu in WPWin 6.1
Article Abstract:
Either adding macro buttons to the Toolbar or adding an entry to one of the Menu Bar menus facilitates easier macro playing in WordPerfect for Windows 6.1. To add the closeall.wcm macro to a Toolbar and Menu Bar users must first choose Edit Preferences and double-click on the toolbar icon. Once the Toolbar Preferences dialog is displayed, users should select the desired Toolbar, such as 6.1 WordPerfect, to edit, and subsequently choose Edit. Users can then select the Play a Macro radio button located at the Toolbar Editor dialog. Next, users should display the Select Macro dialog using Add Macro, scrolling down the dialog's macro list and double-clicking on closeall.wcm. Selecting Yes at the macro asking if the user wishes to save the macro with the full path ensures that the Toolbar will consistently play the most updated macro version saved to the disk.
