Constitution cultists fuel right fringe: homegrown scholars treat Framers' work as a Bible to gird anti-government view
Article Abstract:
Anti-government extremists have created a specialized legal philosophy called constitutionalism to bolster their claims about individual rights and a conspiracy to undermine the Constitution. They treat the Constitution with a reverence usually reserved for the Bible, and take pride in their knowledge of it, but even conservative constitutional scholars dismiss their claims as having only shreds of truth. Still, constitutionalism pervades far right groups.

J.D. - new way to join CEO club: corporate governance and regulatory work are putting lawyers on executive track
Article Abstract:
Corporate leaders in the US increasingly have legal training, due to trends in regulation, management, and the nature of law firms and in-house legal departments. Lawyers with top business positions say their background makes them a better advocate for their industries, helps them quickly grasp complex issues, and often brought them to the board's notice. However, some observers say lawyers are often too cautious and ill-trained in accounting and finance.
