The business ethics of Dow Corning will continued to be debated with regards to its silicone breast implants, which women claimed ruptured and caused debilitating medical conditions. Dow Corning, once viewed as having solid ethics programs and committees, was forced to pay not because of conclusive scientific evidence, but due to charges of unethical business practices.
