The relationships between the companies and their suppliers
Article Abstract:
Companies which have adopted business strategies that promote cooperation, observance of ethical conducts and joint vision of management achieve better results. One key to improve competitiveness is active cooperation between firms and their suppliers which should be considered as collaborators. Active cooperation management improves the quality of services and products of a company and enhances the reputation held by the clients. Moreover, ethical method in conducting business would also establish long-term business relationships.

Business ethics and accounting information. An analysis of the Spanish Code of Best Practice
Article Abstract:
The role of the transparency and quality of the economic and financial information provided to shareholders in Spain is examined. Focus is given on the Spanish capital market and the economic condition of shareholders before the February 1998 Code of Best Practice for Spanish Companies was published. The importance of the actions of three groups that ensure quality and transparency of information were also analyzed.
