The Navy's order that spy suspect Daniel M King not meet woth his counsel outside the presence of a naval security officer and King's lawyer's contention that the order violates attorney-client privilege are discussed. King was a Navy cryptography expert who allegedly passed secret data to the Soviet Union in 1994

Bill Kennedy's attempt to use violations of his attorney-client privilege to fight his 20-year sentence for money laundering, fraud and racketeering is described. Bank sued for employee Ponzi scheme; did Marine Midland duty survive adviser's departure?
Article Abstract:
The Pyramid scheme perpetrated by former financial consultant Dennis L. Helliwell as triggered a suit in New York courts against his former employer, Marine Midland Bank, on respondeat superior grounds for Helliwell's actions both during and after his employment there. The suit was filed by 12 of the scheme's approximately 50 victims and gives the bank liability for Helliwell's actions during his employment there.
