Article Abstract:
The 1993 National Law Journal directory of major US financial institutions, their top legal officers and outside counsel most frequently used is given. Financial institutions surveyed included the country's 100 biggest banks, 50 biggest savings and loans and 50 biggest diversified financial services institutions. Six categories are included in the list; the name and headquarters of the financial institution, 1992 assets in millions, name and title of top legal officer, number of lawyers in-house, private attorneys on the board of directors, and major law firms used between 1992 and 1993.

Who represents corporate America; the NLJ client list
Article Abstract:
The 1992 National Law Journal survey of law firms representing corporate America is given. The firms are those most used by the 250 largest US corporations. Each corporation was asked to list no more than five firms. Law firms are listed in the order listed by the companies, who were also asked to list top in-house corporate counsel, total number of corporate counsel and attorneys on the board of directors. Some shrinkage when compared to the 1991 list shows a loss of jobs for attorneys.
