Yes: community self-defense laws are constitutionally sound
Article Abstract:
Community notification laws applying when a paroled sex offender moves into a community are constitutionally beyond reproach. Such laws do not violate the right to privacy, nor to they impact constitutionally protected rights by stigmatizing an offender within a town. Such laws do not burden the sex offender with any government disability, since a choice to ostracize the offender is a private matter not influenced by government action. Megan's Law is not a cure-all, but anything that helps even a little is a welcome antidote to crime.

No: gerrymandering is unfair
Article Abstract:
The US Supreme Court should use Shaw v. Reno to declare race-related districting unconstitutional since it violates the 15th Amendment's guarantee of nondiscrimination due to race. This kind of districting discriminates against white voters and even blacks, assuming all blacks share the same political views. Intentional black majority districting results in permanent frustration of the white minority's political desires.
