Expanding accountability to stakeholders: trends and predictions
Article Abstract:
Many companies accept the need to set national and global social accountability standards, though this is a relatively new concept for US businesses. Stakeholder accountability can be shown to reduce social conflict as well as helping managers see the advantages of authentic responses to stakeholder preferences.

Corporate responsibility in the global village: the British role model and the American Laggard
Article Abstract:
U.S. and Britain, two countries with similar politics and entrepreneurial cultures have taken different approaches to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies. Similar to that of Britain, even U.S. government has a wide range of policies to promote global corporate responsibility.
