Article Abstract:
The Film Council, funded by Alan Parker's Lottery, has raised 250,000 pounds sterling, which will be split between nine of England's regional commissions and three local city film offices. Efforts and plans to save the network of English film commissions have to be submitted to the Film Council by March 2001.
