Polygram poaches MPC effects team
Article Abstract:
Polygram Filmed Entertainment (PFE) has hired talents of Digital Film, Moving Picture Company's (MPC) film effects arm, to staff the new special effects facility it is organizing. The new facility, which is believed to have the working title Double Negative, is expected to initially handle a maximum of 300 effects shots for the upcoming sci-fi film Pitch Black. MPC Managing Director David Jeffers acknowledged Digital Film compositors Charlie Noble, Paul Riddle, Ian Chisholm, Fraser Churchill and Richard Bain have already resigned to join the new venture.
