Black holes in the ratings universe
Article Abstract:
Some television channels over a period of time lose steadily of viewer ratings for a particular time slot(s). In case of BBC is Wednesday nights when the audience ratings fall dramatically for the channel and BBC defends that is due to its public service remit which has more social value than ratings considerations. For other channels too such weak spots exists; the low audience attracting time slots for different channels are analyzed.
