Endemol eyes RDF in global expansion plan
Article Abstract:
Endemol, which was reacquired by founder John de Mol in May 2007 for 2.3 billion pounds, has put RDF Media on top of the list of companies that Endemol is eyeing to acquire. John de Mol's shares in RDF was increased to 29.26%, drawing him closer to the 29.99% limit that would require him to make a buyout offer. The potential merger, which is part of Endemol's global expansion effort, is discussed.

RDF to miss targets as suspension hits home
Article Abstract:
RDF Media will not meet their 2007 financial targets when their first half pre-tax profits dropped 27 percent to 1.9 m pounds sterling. The lower profits are attributed to the group's investment in RDF USA, RDF Kids and RDF Digital. Fallout from the controversy from the documentary A Year with the Queen will also weigh down profits.
