Fifty posts at risk as Carlton gets ready to axe pay-TV channels
Article Abstract:
Carlton Communications plans to drop three of its pay-TV channels, which may mean the elimination of as many as 50 jobs. On the chopping block are Carlton World, Carlton Kids and Carlton Select according to production director Lord Waheed Alli. If Carlton replaces the losses with a broader ITV children's channel the job losses could be offset.
