De Moller plans to retire from Carlton

Carlton Communications will have the untimely retirement of its managing director, June de Moller, following 28 years of service. As soon as a successor is appointed, de Moller has plans to retire in early 1999 after being managing director for six years and handling Carlton's businesses and operations. De Moller also took over Carlton Television from chairman Nigel Walmsley in August 1997 and was behind the supervision of distribution company Carlton International and of Carlton, Central and Westcountry, which are ITV franchises.

Carlton to shake up factual dept
Article Abstract:
Carlton Television is imposing a restructuring of its factual department, ushering in James Cohen, producer of Inside Story, and David Perrin, Channel 4's development executive. The appointments is expected to be the first of several changes in the department and the rest of the company and should renew ties between former BBC and Channel 4 colleagues, Perrin and Steve Hewlett, the new director of program of Carlton. Hewlett is expected to restructure the departments of the company before he outlines future plans.
